What is an Ivy Index Score?

How to interpret the score

What it does
Score Scale

Scores indicate colleges that students are competitive for.

Understanding the Score

The Ivy Index Score would have been a huge help when I declined admission at Yale and other top colleges to accept a full scholarship at a state university.  When applying for internships, jobs, scholarships, and grad school, it would have been so useful to have this as a shorthand to communicate my track record. Instead I had to work five times harder and take a less direct route.” – HK, entrepreneur, ex-McKinsey
